God's Compassion - Jonah's Anger

The end of the book is so abrupt that we are forced to imagine the ending – did Jonah get it? Did he finally understand that Nineveh deserved the same grace and mercy he had received? This is where you get to write the ending – but you must become Jonah to write the ending – his story becomes your story – so, here are a few questions to help you finish the story.

1. Do all people deserve God’s grace, or only the ones you deem worthy?
2. Is God always good, or only when you get your way?
3. If God rescued your greatest enemy, would you be grateful or resentful?
4. Is the way of Jesus the way of compassion or vengeance for your enemies?
