Marked by God - The Life of Jacob
1. Jacob spent most of his life living a lie.
2. Jacob has showdown with God, where he is forced to become who God had already promised.
3. Jacob wouldn’t let go.
4. God changed his name.
5. Jacob was marked by God.
6. God has made his ultimate covenant in Jesus.
We are ALL flawed and in need of redemption – we all need a “do over” – God made a covenant with Jacob WHILE he was in sin – Romans 5:8 – while we were sinners, God made covenant with us through Jesus – you were made for greatness – not for your glory, but for glory of God.
