Peter never set out to deny Jesus three times. His fear overtook his identity and he fell pray the enemy's scheme and his own fears. This was no surprise to Jesus, He predicted it would happen. We all have fears, it's our choice to step into the fear and believe the enemy's lies or ask God what the truth is, giving our fear to The One who has the power to overcome.
