What do we need to know today?

 

1. There has never been a more important time to be a follower of Jesus. You have been activated for such a time as this. Following Jesus is easy during peace-time – it’s when chaos strikes that you are needed most – now is not the time to pour gasoline on the fire – less politics, less anxiety, more peace, more love, more grace, more Jesus

 

2. Wherever you go, bring the Kingdom. We have been talking about this in Ephesians. You are members of a royal family – you have a Kingdom identity – live it – take spiritual authority over every room you walk into, not because of anything other than Jesus IN YOU

 

3. God is in Control. He is our refuge, strength and help. He’s GOT THIS. Trust him more than the stock market, government or CDC. He is at work.

 

4. Be still and know GOD. Cease striving. As everything grinds to a halt, you can fight it, or you can settle into God’s rest. He is creating sacred space for the world to slow down and know him.
