Where have I embraced Babylon in my life? Is there any area that I would mourn if it went away? This is a gut check – where have you unwittingly partnered with the enemy? Where has life become about you? In Matthew 6:24, Jesus says you serve one or the other -

The Kingdom of God offers an alternative to the Kingdom Babylon. Jesus spells it out in the Sermon on the Mount, an alternative to the self-focused way of Babylon – Poor in spirit, those who mourn over their sin, meek, hunger and thirst for righteousness, merciful, pure in heart, peacemakers, persecuted for righteousness, love and sacrifice especially for your enemies, a generous heart, possessions don’t own you, freedom from worry, no judgment, following the narrow path – Jesus calls you into the anti-Babylon – it's not about you, but His plan for you.
