1. The draw of sin is strong. Paul talks about it in Romans 7. Sin takes you farther, keeps you longer, costs you more. Don’t be fooled into believing that you can overcome sin on your own.

2. The narrative of Revelation is that Jesus defeats the enemy and sin at every turn. Sin is big, but Jesus is bigger. Trust the protection of Jesus over your propensity toward sin. What you may see as a huge battle is nothing to Jesus. More trust, less worry.

3. Satan only has the power you give him. 1 John 4:4 – The power of the living God is coursing through your veins. NOTHING can stand against you in the name of Jesus. All He asks is your humility and faithfulness.
