    • Grocery Giveaways: 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month from 7:00am-12:00pm. Volunteers are needed to help receive donations as they come in and then unload them in the sanctuary, and people are needed to shop and help carry groceries to people’s vehicles after shopping. There are also opportunities for evangelism and prayer with families waiting in line.
    • Mission Opportunities: Our mission is open to the public on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:30am-2:00pm. Opportunities can include sorting / folding clothing donations or helping people find appropriate clothing, receiving incoming donations of various items, or helping facilitate in small projects around campus. *A dedicated person is also needed on Wednesdays who can help prepare food, unload small food deliveries, and serve lunch at 12:00pm sharp.
    • Meal Opportunities: We need families / groups to come on Tuesday or Thursday evenings and prepare meals for the men in the UOF program. Meals can be prepared at your home and delivered / served during this time, or your group can come prepare food in our kitchen after 3:00pm. We do have food that can be used for this, but know we cannot guarantee what ingredients will be available each week. This position requires a lot of flexibility and creativity! Volunteers will be preparing food for 25 people. Getting to know our men and building friendships and relationships with them is also part of this job. Please feel free to pray with them and share testimonies during this time.
    • We need partners to help with meals on certain Sunday mornings for breakfast and lunch. Contact Joley at 936-447-0258 by call or text to find open spots to help on Sundays. Food can be prepared at home and brought to serve, purchased from somewhere and brought to serve, or can be prepared on-site using our griddle. We provide paper goods and drinks, but not the food for these positions. We prepare for 75-100 people for these meals.
    • Children’s Volunteers: We need people to help our teachers with our Wednesday evening children’s church. We have a large bus ministry that picks up children from different areas and brings them to church for dinner and a lesson. Anyone volunteering for this position will need to pass a background check.
