Today, we want to look at one of most important, one of the least talked about subjects – MONEY– the #1 thing most non-believers think about church is all talked about is money – not true, but well over 2000 references to money in Bible and how important is to spiritual well-being –

Jesus talked a lot about money. Sixteen of the thirty-eight parables concerned how to handle money and possessions. In Gospels one out of ten verses (288) deal directly with money - The Bible offers 500 verses on prayer, less than 500 verses on faith, but more than 2,000 verses on money and possessions.

Crazy, right? You would think prayer and faith would be more talked about, but why money? Money and possessions are likely #1 thing competing for heart – clearly there is something God wants for us in the area of financial stewardship.
