The Israelites missed Jesus because they were STILL looking for the wrong characteristics of a KING – They were looking for someone to change their external circumstances, but Jesus, the KING of kings, came to bring PEACE, REST and FULFILLMENT to their SOULSWe are ALL in search of a KING.

1. We all want someone or something to bring peace to our turmoil, or prosperity to our brokenness

2. The culture offers you a king to enhance your life. The offer comes in a variety of ways, whether, financial or career enhancement, relational enhancement, physical enhancement, just remember, something is vying for the throne of your heart. Follow the time and money.

3. Be careful what you ask for. God will often give you over to yourself.

4. Jesus is a BETTER KING. Jesus offers you the longing of your heart. Light, Peace, FREEDOM.
