1. We need each other. Paul knew that the mission of Jesus was bigger than him. He needed Timothy and Silas. He needed the church in Philippi to live into the mission of Jesus. If we want to change the world, it won’t happen in isolation or independence, but interdependence, working together, locking arms for the sake of Jesus

2. In Jesus, anything worth doing is worth doing with JOY. Paul wrote this from prison. Less than ideal circumstances, but still filled with JOY. Doesn’t come naturally – FOS, only in Jesus

3. What God starts, he completes. You are in process. He’s not done with you. Relax and submit to the process.

4. There is MORE. You have not arrived. Fast begins tomorrow. Press in. There is more. More love, more knowledge, more understanding. And the result is fruit of righteousness (Psalm 1). He wants to grow you.
