Many of you are wading in the river of God – you may be ankle deep or waist deep, but eventually, if you will let it, you will be in a place where you can no longer stand, and you’ll be forced to let the current take you, be swept up, overwhelmed in all that God is.

What’s really cool is that this river of God flowing out of temple is a beautiful picture of God’s presence and power, and it seems similar to river flowing through garden of Eden in Genesis 2:10 – the river flowing through the perfection of the garden, bringing life, providing nourishment – Psalm 46:4 –
there is a river whose streams make glad the city of God – We see this river in the beginning, in all its perfection, and now a similar river that we will see as a healing river – these three movements here are in contrast to another three movements in another part of the Bible.
