The Good Tree
In this weekends teaching time, Pastor Greg emphasizes the mission of Restoration Church to help individuals encounter, embrace, and embody the way of Jesus, specifically through worship and the application of God's Word. He uses the metaphor of a dead tree to illustrate the importance of assessing one's spiritual health, highlighting that genuine faith is reflected through the fruit produced in a person's life. Pastor Greg warns against the danger of a superficial identity as a "Christian," urging everyone to examine their alignment with Jesus, as there is no neutral ground in faith; one is either for Him or against Him. Ultimately, he encourages the us to seek intimacy with Jesus in our lives, reminding us all that it is only through this relationship that we can produce good fruit and fulfill their true calling.
