And so Paul says, this is what I’m praying for you. Paul says “I am praying that the power of the Gospel is what keeps driving you forward and upward. I’m not praying for you to

find some new way, or to attain something new that you are missing.”

“No” Paul Says “I’m praying for you to love and appreciate what you already have.”

Look what it says...The father HAS qualified you.” Church, That’s past tense! “The father HAS delivered you and transferred you from the domain of darkness.” Past tense again...

And finally, listen to this....”You have redemption and the forgiveness of sins.” Present tense...It’s yours...right now!

That is the power of the gospel. And as you keep turning that flywheel, as you keep turning into desiring more understanding of God’s will, the more you keep bearing fruit in every good work and partnering with God to know Him, you will see more and more areas of your life transform.

You will think and act and respond and walk with Christ more and more every day and that is the way of Jesus.

That’s why Paul says that’s what I’m praying for!
