Jesus is drawing into sharp contrast that you are either for him or against him. Following him is not just a good idea, it is a matter of life or death.

1. There are only two paths, difficult and easy.There is no 3^rdoption. Have to take stock in which road you’re on
2. There are two gates, broad and narrow.There is no 3^rdgate. Are you more in line with the culture of with Jesus? There is not a passive gate to enter
3. There are two crowds, large and small.There is not a neutral group to join. Unfortunately, not many want to really follow Jesus.
4. There are two destinations, destruction or life.There is no 3^rdalternative. Matter of life or death. Eternity is in the balance.
